"Christianity taught us to care" St Davids tries hard to be a caring Church. People who become part of the Church are assigned to the care of a Pastoral Carer. He or she will be that person's or family's primary carer, and is available for support and guidance when needed. The Minister is available also for counsel and help via the Church office. Small Groups - Friendship and Growth St Davids has a number of Nurture Groups meeting in people's homes. These groups offer to people of all ages, friendship, personal support and opportunities for personal, social and spiritual growth. All are welcome to join a group. Contact the Church office. Ladies Care and Share Fellowship Meetings are held in the Fellowship Room of the Church on the first Tuesday of each month at 9:30 am. Open to women of all ages. Meetings are held in the Fellowship Room of the Church on the third Tuesday of each month at 7:30 pm. Wednesday mornings in the Church Hall at 9:30 am. Courses are run from time to time for anyone interested in finding out more about the Christian Faith. Contact Church Office.

Classes are provided for children from 4 years of age to high school age from 9:15 am to 10:30 am every Sunday during the school term. There is a creche for under 4's. This group is for girls Year 1 primary school upwards and meets on Friday evening from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm during the school term. For boys Year 1 to 7 primary school, This group meets on Friday evening from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm during the school term. This group for high school aged young people from years 8 to 12 meets weekly for fun and fellowship normally on Saturday evenings. This group for post-high school aged young adults meets weekly for social and devotional activities. |
St Davids Neighbourhood Centre is situated at 22 Rookwood Avenue Coopers Plains. The Centre conducts a range of services addressing community and personal needs. | Thrift Shop | GOLD Workshops | GOLD and KIDS Workshops | | Special Workshops | A program based on playgroups with added educational and directive activities. This program provides support for women in their role of parent as well as creating a safe and fun environment for children. Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 9:30 am to 11:30 am. This group for the elderly including housebound and frail meets for a varied program, bus trips, good company and a two course hot lunch. Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 9:30 am to 1:30 pm. This service provides parents with time to attend appointments (eg doctor or hairdresser) or just to have that important break . Monday, Thursday and Friday from 9:15 am to 1:00 pm. Meets Thursday mornings weekly during the school term from 9:30 am to 12:00 Noon. Provides an opportunity for mature women to learn and share creativity in a friendly and supportive environment. Monday from 10:00 am to 12:00 Noon. Located on Orange Grove Road, the Thrift Shop provides pre-loved clothing, appliances, kitchen items, bric-a-brac, etc at affordable prices. Open Monday to Friday 9:00 am to 3:30 pm and Saturday 9:00 am to 12:00 Noon. Brisbane City Council's GOLD Workshops A variety of workshops, run quarterly, covering a wide range of activities for people over 50 years of age.
